100% Garnacha, DO Cariñena, Red Wine. The grapes come from Viñedos in Almonacid de la Sierra, located at an altitude of 660 meters above sea level.
Mas de Mancuso debuts with the 2015 vintage and gives us a fine Aragonese Garnacha and floral. Small production and craftsmanship by Jorge and Jesús Navascués, Aragonese wine makers and winemakers who have decided to surprise us pleasantly with this project of research of varietal purity in Almonacid de la Sierra. 45 years on average. Manual harvesting, fermentation in stainless steel tanks with 20% scrap. Very soft extractions. Aging 14 months in used French oak barrels of 225 liters. Saves 12 months in the bottle before being commercialized.
Cherry red. Eminently floral nose with hints of violets, blackberries, white pepper, memories of blond tobacco, red licorice, watermelon and some herbal notes. The palate is very fresh and juicy, balanced, tasty, medium body, very elegant with acidity and alcohol very well integrated. It is recommended to open and air at least one hour before serving. Recommended consumption in optimal conditions until 2022.
The origins of this project go back to 2002 with the union of two families: the Navascués and the San Pedro (Bodegas Pujanza) to recover and elaborate garnachas in Jarque del Moncayo.
